CDL-A Drivers Needed!
Date: Jan 05, 2024
Company:
Global Shredding & Records Storage
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Call: 404-216-7609
If you are a licensed CDL driver and want to join a small, local-driving-only company where you can make a real, daily impact on company performance, then Global Shredding & Records Storage may be your new home. We are seeking a full-time CDL Shredding Truck Driver to join our team! You will commute M-F and some Saturdays to our warehouse in Doraville, GA with work hours from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM and must be available to work at least (2) Saturdays per month. Saturdays are typically half or partial days only.
We are a small, family-like team that respects each other’s individual roles, and we empower each other to make decisions.
All driving is local in Atlanta, and you will be home with your family in the evenings. You will be responsible for safely operating a mobile document shredding truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). The driving position begins the day with a route consisting of routine and purge shredding jobs. After clocking in, you will complete your pre-trip and then use a phone app to navigate through the day’s route. Your phone app will automatically notify clients of route updates, minimizing the need for manual communications between drivers and customers. Routes are managed and often adjusted throughout each day by management to ensure that profitability is optimized while drivers are not overworked and get off at a reasonable hour.
It is important that you are polished in customer interaction, navigating issues as they arise in the field with proficiencies in software use and simple math.
