JOB SUMMARY
ShareHouse is seeking a result driven, goal-oriented, experienced grant writer. Should have exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills. Must be detail orientated with excellent research skills.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Grant Coordinator does not supervise any positions.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Plans, coordinates, and monitors the implementation of grants.
- Completes all documents, forms, and reports required for submission of various grants.
- Identifies grant sources and provides technical writing and review of grant proposals.
- Is attentive to submitting reports for approval, research of grants and grant deadlines
- Identify, define, and develop funding sources to support existing and planned program activities.
- Determines funding needs and attends strategy meetings.
- Develops and maintains grants calendar and master file of grants.
- Partners with ShareHouse Executive Coordinator to research, assemble and submit grants to philanthropic and state/federal entities.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
- Maintain positive relationships with funding providers and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn about behavioral health and Substance Use Disorder services.
- Must possess knowledge of basic math and data analysis skills.
- Ability to practice critical thinking.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
PERIODIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve on committees as assigned
- Assist with creation and implementation of marketing materials and public relations information
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently while staying focused on primary objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, or Mass Communication preferred.
Previous experience in grant writing.

- Possess working familiarly with and knowledge of state and Federal laws and regulations, and company clinical policies/procedures
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business communication
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral forms

- Ability to proof and check documents for accuracy
- Demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationship-building
- Ability to use independent judgment in order to solve unique problems that may be like those previously encountered
- Ability to management multiple, competing tasks and demands and manage time efficiently
- Ability to establish relationships with clients, peers, various agencies and general public
- Ability to type/keyboard with minimal errors
