Here's what you'd do:
- In this role, you will incorporate RAMS management to lead specific CBTC application projects, through RAMS planning over requirement clarification, monitoring design, software and hardware modifications and corrections, factory and field test monitoring, cutover safety analysis, and safety case to independent safety assessment.
- Prepare and execute project safety plans in line with client standards and practices.
- Including to ensure that necessary documents (hazard analyses, fault tree analyses, safety cases) are available for approvals
- Provide evidence of compliance with system requirements about reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety using customer requirements and regulatory guidelines
- Working in an international environment
- Perform RAM and Safety Analyses to identify faults within the systems and operations
- Support project execution by coordinating safety activities with the Project Manager, Systems Engineers, Independent Safety Assessors, Suppliers and Customers

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a RAMS engineer, or RAMS manager for complex and safety-critical Railroad, Nuclear Plant, Aerospace, or Automotive systems.
- Minimum of 5 years experience utilizing CBTC (Communications-based train control) systems
- Minimum of 5 years experience with the following techniques: FMECA, FTA, PHA, Hazard Logs
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Interface Hazard Analysis (EN50159)
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing Safety Related Application Conditions or Safety Application Rules
- Minimum of 5 years experience writing and reviewing technical reports
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences
- RAMS experience with at least 2 of the following: CBTC, Signaling, CBTC-Signaling interface, CBTC-RS interface
- Experience in exchanging Hazards/Safety Requirements across Subsystems
- Railroad operational experience
- RAMS relevant standards (IEEE-1483, IEEE-1474, MIL-882, IEC-61508, MIL-217)
- Speaking in French, Spanish
- Hands-on knowledge of CBTC Systems and CENELEC standards (EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129)
- Knowledge of safety-critical software development per EN50128
- Collaboration and management skills
- Ability to make decisions
