SalaryACW-IS (A+ Care with Instructional Services) is an organization that provides Community Based Rehabilitation Services to children with developmental delays from Birth to 3 - years old. ACW-IS is seeking special instruction professionals for Rocky Mount and surrounding counties (Edgcombe, Wilson, Halifax, Johnston, Nash, Northampton ) who have a passion for working with families to provide the support they need for their child to achieve developmental growth, master milestones.
Requirements:
- B.A in Early Childhood or Special Education, B. A in Psychology, Birth-Kindergarten Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Child Development, Child and Family Studies, Counseling, Human Development, Family Relations, Family Studies, Family and Consumer Sciences, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or another human services field
- Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
- Pass Federal and State Background Checks
- Conduct sessions in the family's home, school, clinic, hospital, etc.
- Travel at least 15-45 minutes for sessions ranging between 45-60 minutes once or twice a week
- Willing to start Part-Time with room to grow
- Complete and attend professional development training
Caseloads are built according to your areas and times of availability. We are looking for part-time and contractual, or even just one day a week. We will customize your caseload to meet your geographic and scheduling preferences.
