Summary of Position
The Interventional Radiology Technologist demonstrates competency in all diagnostic and standard interventional radiology procedures; demonstrates effective ]communication skills as an active member of the Special Procedures team; and follows established standards and practices under the direction of the radiologist, invasive cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon.
Responsibilities:
- You will help in the procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the Cath/EP Lab
- You will be the subject matter expert of all invasive procedures and prepare patients appropriately according to policy
- Your duties will include circulating, monitoring patients during Cath Lab procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, and other cardiac procedures
- You will handle stocking and documenting supplies, patient billing, and coding of procedures
Qualifications / Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Associate degree preferred
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or client Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
- A current American Heart Association ACLS certification or client ALS certification is required
- Current ARRT and RCIS required within 1 year of hire
Experience:
- 1 year of experience preferred.
Salary Range: $36.54 - $54.80 per hour
- Night - $3.50
- Weekend - $6
- Sign on bonus - $15,000
- Relocation - $5000 over 250 miles - $2500 over 50 miles

Schedule:
- Full time days – 6:30AM to 5:00PM – Rotating weekends
