Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital - Radiology
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Full-time; 8hr and 10hr shifts available
Pay: $31 - $40/hr based on experience plus full benefits
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Cath Lab Technologist duties to include but not limited to:
-Assume responsibility for the routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment, in addition, assumes responsibility for quality patient care, maintenance of required Cath Lab competencies and assistance in all aspects of invasive, or non-invasive cardiac procedures
-Handle emergency situations during high-risk procedures and provide discretion and confidentiality in word and action
-Provide direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization
-Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
-Registered Radiologic Technician, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT *In Florida)
-BLS Certified
-ACLS Certified – may obtain after 6 months of hire
-Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience
