Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for qualified, patient-care-focused Cath Lab Techto work for a State Hospital in the Houston, TX area.

Cath Lab Techis responsible for collaborating with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to facilitate the delivery of patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to scrub/pan Phillips C Arm.
- Independent in scrub skills for pacemaker, LHC, High Risk PCI, Impella, Balloon Pump, Rotational Atherectomy (CSI/Hawk/Rotarpro), Shockwave, IVUS. RHC
- Transport Patients via Stretcher and hospital bed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Required.
- 6 years Radiology experience (any/all modalities) Required.
- Basic life support and medical terminology understanding is required.
- MR-ARRT - ARRT RegTech Mag Reson ImagingAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists" Required.
- Master’s degree in any radiology or healthcare field of study may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience."
- A Bachelor’s degree in any radiology or healthcare field of study may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
- Technical diplomaGraduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program" Required.
- Knowledge of MRI physics and procedures; understanding of MRI principles that are developmentally appropriate for ages 0 – adulthood.
- Operation of all required equipment including troubleshooting when necessary of the equipment, including automated processors, copying/digitizing film equipment, R.I.S., and PACS.
- Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the successful demonstration of the professional fundamental competencies.
- Must be articulate, courteous and supportive in dealing with patients, parents, nursing, faculty, administrative and departmental personnel so that excellent customer service and positive guest relations are achieved.
- Must honor confidentiality, independently scan patients by following the established protocols, demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, and utilize basic office equipment; such as fax"
- Fetal MRI experience a plus! Philips Ingenia experience a Plus!
- ARRT MRI and Texas Medical Board
- EP Scrub Preferred
- EP Monitor would be great additional skill.
Job Details:
- Schedule varies; Typically M-F hours between 6:30am -5pm
- $72/hr + benefits
- Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program
- Temp-to-Hire opportunity
