Cath Lab Tech

Shift: Monday-Friday, 5x8s, Days, Monday through Friday, Weekly schedule alternates shifts 7am 3:30pm or 8am 4:30 pm; some late days
Contract Length: 12 weeks...
ARRT(R) (NJ License required), RCIS or CVT accepted - must have one
BLS required
ACLS preferred
2+ years of current Cath Lab (CV) experience required
Must have experience with PPM Implants and Vascular procedures
No blocked scheduling
May be required to float to the Cath Lab at the Paterson location
No weekends
No call in Wayne Cath Lab
No Holidays
Charting: Client Mac Lab and Cerner - preferred
Experience with the following equipment: MacLab, Philips x-ray machine, balloons, wires, and sterile technique
Experience with Philips X-ray, Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization, PCI, Cardiac Intervention Angioplasty and Stent. Vascular diagnostic and intervention procedures, LASER and CSI Artherectomy, Angiojet, IVUS, IMPELLA, and IABP, PPM implant
Experience with Mac Lab and Cerner documentation system preferred
1st time travelers accepted
2-5 cases per day
Scrubs provided by the hospital - change daily; Can bring own lead aprons but unit will provide as needed
Will assist staff with supplies and education
Flu vaccine required...
