Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Catering & Special Event Consultant to join our team at Jewell Events Catering. As a Catering & Special Event Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the event planning process, from initial consultation to event execution. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and objectives, and work diligently to bring their vision to life. This role requires a high level of creativity, organization, and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Collaborate with clients to develop customized event proposals that align with their vision and objectives.
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations on venue selection, menu planning, décor, and entertainment options.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of the event, including vendor coordination, timeline management, and on-site supervision.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, ensuring clear and timely communication at all stages.
• Manage event budgets, contracts, and timelines to ensure that all deliverables are met within established parameters.
• Oversee the execution of events, ensuring that all details are executed flawlessly and that the client's expectations are exceeded.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to drive business growth and foster repeat business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or catering sales, preferably in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of event planning principles, including venue selection, menu planning, and décor design.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and colleagues.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.30 - $25.65 per hour
