The Job:
As a Category Analyst you will be a part of the Home Depot Sales Team working remotely. You will get to:
  • Collaborate with THD team to grow overall category POS and help deliver on key THD and Stanley Black & Decker metrics.
  • Develop and maintain POS, Shipment & Forecast scorecards and provide analysis on drivers of trends.
  • Assist Sales team in promotional management and profitability.
  • Effectively and clearly communicate key trends and metrics in weekly reporting.
  • Drive additional projects such as catalog content audits, retail profitability, analyzing box quantities and SKU rationalization to make recommendations to sales and marketing.
  • Promotional review of selected items against key metrics. Provide over-all assessment of promotional activity, including future recommendations to ensure identified key metrics are met.
  • Leverage data and sales technology to drive opportunities with the Field Sale steam within the retail stores.

The Person
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics or similar field of study.
  • Minimum 2 years of financial, sales, or marketing analysis experience.
  • Experience in Vendordrill highly preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
