Must have morning and daytime availability.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Seat guests and manage the waitlist
- Take reservations and assist with event bookings
- Operate the Aloha POS system to process payments and manage orders
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests
- Assist with coordinating food service and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier area - Ring up all 3rd Party orders like Grubhub, Door Dash, Uber Eats and online orders. Bag up to go orders and ensure that all items ordered are accounted for. - Responsible for making specialty coffee and cappucino drinks.
Skills:
- Strong guest relations and communication skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Proficiency in using the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations, including guest services and hospitality standards
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team player mentality, willing to help out in various areas of the establishment
