Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with locating products and answering product-related questions
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Promote company loyalty programs and encourage customer participation
- Follow all safety and security procedures
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Proficiency in operating a Point of Sale (POS) system for cash transactions
- Knowledge of technology sales, including electronics, is a plus
- Phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries over the phone
- Time management skills to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating discounts or change
- Ability to stock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
