Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Scan and bag items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Promote store loyalty programs and upsell products to customers.
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or cashiering preferred.
- Proficient in using a cash register and handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for retail transactions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Skills:
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Cash handling: Proficient in handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
- POS systems: Experience using point-of-sale systems to process transactions.
