The dispatcher at Vulcan Towing is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the dispatch of tow trucks and other equipment to various locations in and around Anchorage, Alaska. Must have computer skills, lots of typing and inputting information will be required, as well as the ability to learn and work within multiple platforms. The position will mainly be to communicate with customers, truck drivers, and other staff to ensure that all jobs are completed efficiently and promptly. The dispatcher will also handle customer inquiries and complaints, track the location and status of tow trucks, and maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities. This is a fun, fast-paced role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be great on the phone with customers and be proficient with computers, able to listen and type at the same time.
