Job Summary: Join the Donuts and Coffee team as a cashier and help us create delightful moments for our customers. As a cashier, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and contributing to the success of our donut shop.
Responsibilities:
- Extend a warm welcome to customers and provide friendly assistance throughout their visit.
- Accurately record customer orders and process transactions, including cash and card payments.
- Maintain the checkout area in an organized and inviting manner.
- Address customer queries regarding menu items, prices, and ongoing promotions.
- Assist with restocking shelves and display cases with fresh donuts and related products.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
- Notify management when inventory needs replenishing.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean environment.
- Contribute to opening and closing tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Cultivate a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but we're happy to provide training.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
- Effective and friendly communication abilities.
- Attention to detail, particularly during busy periods.
- Willingness to learn and apply food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexible availability from 5 am to 12 pm, including weekends and holidays.
- Dependable and punctual.
Compensation: We value experience and dedication. For experienced cashiers, your compensation will reflect your skills. Additionally, after 6 months of employment, you'll be eligible for consideration for a raise based on your performance and contributions.
