Job Summary

The Red Bandana is seeking cashiers and bakers to come bake, prepare, and provide customer service. We make all of our gluten-free goods from scratch and help run our happy healthy little bakery in Bethesda. This position could include both weekday and weekend shifts and could be full or part-time depending on skill level and interest in advancement potential. Reliability, a great customer service manner, and a good attitude are the most important hiring criteria, and the ideal candidate would have baking and/or bakery management experience, knowledge of gluten-free and/or vegan diets.

We are a small local shop that is totally gluten-free and specializes in other healthier, allergy-friendly baked goods, so The Red Bandana is a place where you can be creative, love your clients and your work, and feel good about what you’re doing! Responsibilities and Duties

Providing friendly and prompt customer service, running a cash register, maintaining sanitation standards, making and serving coffee drinks and breakfast foods, and baking breads and pastries from scratch.

Qualifications and Skills

A friendly and helpful customer service manner is the most important qualification for this job. Experience working at a cafe or bakery, especially managing one would also be a plus. Reliability, trustworthiness, a positive attitude and a pleasant manner with customers and fellow employees are crucial.
