Cashier - 92

Stepp’s Towing and Heavy Transport is looking to hire a Cashier who will handle vehicle releases, vehicle inventory, and general office work at our main office on Highway 92. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, follow instructions as set forth by management, and have cashiering and customer service experience. If you’re great at using computers and have cash handling experience, we encourage you to apply.

• Experience in data entry and customer service.
• Hands on experience working in stressful and/or emergency situations.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High School diploma

• Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Take incoming calls for impound release questions that relate specifically to the laws relating to towing and impoundment.
• Perform releases and cashier duties for impounded vehicles with potentially dishonest, demanding, and challenging customers.
• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
• Process impoundment paperwork and maintain compliance with all requirements for the laws of towing and impoundment.
• Record customer information within our customer service database.
• Administrative and clerical duties.
• Other tasks as assigned.
