Cash Posting Specialist
Position Type: Full Time Hourly/ Hybrid (Requires 1-2 Days a week in office)
Role and Responsibilities
RSi is looking for a Cash Posting Specialist. The primary responsibilities of this role are to receive and post payments on accounts, process refunds, and manage accounts. Other duties include researching and resolving discrepancies and keeping accurate accounting records. You may also open, process, and file incoming mail, and answer phone calls related to accounts.
- Delivers exceptional client service and support that underpins the ongoing relationship between the client and business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and always adheres to a high level of personal and professional presentation
- Demonstrates helpful and effective telephone etiquette and customer service skills by providing appropriate information to callers
- Proficient in Microsoft office including MS Excel (graphs, tables and formulas)
- Strengths in data analysis preferred
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality as scheduled
- Maintains confidentiality, information security and ethical behavior when handling all Company and Client information
- Checks the Company’s and other assigned email and communication systems and delegates emails on a daily basis. Utilizes assigned tools within established guidelines.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, organize workload and prioritize work tasks to meet departmental goals.
- Responds to all communication and/ or verbal inquiries from all relevant parties.
- Familiarity with various client systems
- Process daily ACH, mail in payments and lock boxes in a timely manner.
- Completes month end reporting and balancing.

- Highly proficient, organized, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Detail oriented
- Experience with 10 key calculator
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethics
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- 1 year of Account Management experience preferred
Job Requirements:
- High School equivalent,
- Knowledgeable of documentation and reporting tools, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to independently work under aggressive timelines while managing multiple projects
- Previous Cash Posting experience is preferred
