Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:
Effectively process and post payments to customer accounts
- Payment types including:
- Lockbox (U.S. & Canadian)
- EFT/ACH/Wires
- Credit Card
- Cash Deposits
- Input data accurately and efficiently
- Prepare Memos as required to complete application of checks and research of customer accounts
- Complete month end duties as assigned
- Research projects as assigned
- Monthly filling duties
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Assist team in ensuring deadlines are met
Qualification:
- Prior Cash Applications experience
- Accounts Receivable exposure
- Proficient skills in MS Office with exceptional Excel skills
- Strong written and communication skills required
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as an individual
- Strong customer service skills along with good phone etiquette
- Ability to work under accounting deadlines
- Strong organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize task
- 10 Key by touch
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Exceptional analytical skills
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting base compensation is expected to be $19.00 an hour. We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
