We are looking for a passionate leader who has excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills. As theCash Management Supervisor (Remote), you will have direct oversight of the day-to-day Payment Posting and Credit Balance functions. The Cash Management Supervisor will be instrumental in reviewing, evaluating, and resolving any revenue impacting issues that may arise.
The Responsibilities
- Direct oversight of the Payment Posting and Credit Balance teams which includes mentoring employees, conducting performance evaluations, providing guidance on career goals, and issuing disciplinary action, including and up to termination.
- Responsible for hiring to staff ratios as established by the RCM Department
- Manages employee timecards, reviews time off requests, coordinates schedules and ensuring the attendance policy is being adhered to
- Maintains office harmony and morale in a professional work environment.
- Guides department processes by researching, developing, writing, and updating Cash Management policies, procedures, Job Aids, and guidelines.
- Responsible for handling escalations and maintaining collaboration between departments.
- Serves as resource to team in resolving and documenting complex situations including escalated complaints in a timely manner.
- Identifies need for additional training through observation, account reviews, and audits.
- Create, track, and maintain department Prepares regular reports and performs audits on various operational metrics to ensure department objectives are being met.
- Perform other duties as needed.
The Qualifications
- Associate degree in business management or related secondary training desired but can be substituted with years of relevant, practical experience.
- 2+ years of lead/supervisor experience.
- 3+ years of Payment Posting and/or Credit Balance required; physician and/or mental health billing preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records; NextGen and AMD a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other computer technology/software
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Extensive customer service skills (within a healthcare setting preferred), including the ability to use appropriate judgment, independent thinking and creativity when resolving Cash Management issues.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff, and other customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all personal/health sensitive information.
