Department: Justice Involved Services (JIS) - Union
Salary: $20.00- $21.00
Location: Union, NJ
Work hours: Temporary Full time- 40 hours’ weekly
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under direction of the Justice Involved Services Team Leader, provides direct services such as assessment, service planning, service linkage, ongoing monitoring, ongoing clinical support and advocacy for individuals in the Union County Jail who have mental health related problems to transition to successful community living.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related area
- CADC, CRC, BSW Preferred
- Two years paid progressive work experience in human services required with at least one year in mental health/substance use disorder area
- Two years’ additional paid work experience in mental health substitutes for a bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with people with MICA or substance use disorders required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Vehicle required
