KIN CONNECT Case Manager Responsibilities
- Oversight of Foster Homes for compliance
- In home support for Foster Parents
- Maintain Case notes for youth and foster families
- Complete monthly reports and send to youth’s team.
- Maintain professional relationships with Counties, GALs and treatment team members.
- Aid in placement paperwork to ensure timeliness
- In home visits 2 times a month.
- Attend training to stay informed of best practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
The Case Manager must have:
- Shall hold a Bachelor degree in the social or behavioral sciences from a regionally accredited college or university. If an individual has a Bachelor's degree in a non-related field, he/she shall have at least two (2) years experience supervised by an individual with a Master of Social Work or other Master's degree in the social or behavioral sciences.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License – DMV Records will be checked.
- Background Clearances are required: Criminal (CBI and FBI), Child Abuse (BIU) – Negative reports may result in termination of employment.
- 3 written statements/references
- Submit proof of qualifications and certified transcripts from a regionally accredited college or university to the State Department within thirty (30) calendar days of accepting the position.
- SAFE Certification Desired
- Complete Prudent Parent Training, SAFE Training
