Responsibilities:
- Provides case staffing consultations to on-site and remote case management staff to troubleshoot complex cases and to assist with the efficient processing of UC cases.
- Confers regularly with customer staff and direct care providers to provide perspectives from child welfare, juvenile justice, and mental health in adherence with policy.
- Conducts interviews with children when necessary to support safe and timely reunification or to assess for individual placement needs.
- Assists care providers and customer to recognize potential victims of trafficking.
- Provides technical assistance on customer policy and procedures related to family reunification and transfers.
Location:
This position is hybrid, being both remote, and on site in any part of the United States.
Required:
- Position requires fingerprint background checks and child abuse / neglect checks.
- Requires Tier 2 Public Trust Investigation
Education and Experience:
- MA/MS in Social Work or a social science related discipline +2 years postgraduate child welfare experience, or +3 years of post-undergraduate child welfare experience, or
- BA/BS in Social Work or a social science related discipline and +5 years of post-degree demonstrated child welfare experience, or
- BA/BS in a non-social science related discipline and +7 years of post-degree child welfare experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (will be tested)
Schedule:
Deployment Operations CCs will work an alternate workday schedule of 7 days on/7 days off. Deployments are planned for 7 days total (5 days onsite, travel days at the beginning & end). When deployed to a customer site, Deployment Operations CCs on-site workday will be 6:30 AM- 6:30 PM local time.
Travel:
This position is expected to travel 50% -75% of the time.
