They have developed an excellent reputation over the past 27 years, to the point where most of their business comes through referrals. Carolina Foundation Repairs are looking to add an Accounting Assistantto their growing team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily operations, including but not limited to:
General bookkeeping using QuickBooks
Billing and invoicing for accounts payable/accounts receivable.
Payroll taxes, quarterly taxes
Insurance and liability payments/renewalsI
Preparing daily bank deposits
Managing general company liabilities i.e., CC, receipts, labor tracking etc
General filing based upon current systems in place.
Working with an accountant periodically to ensure books and taxes are in line
Office Administration
Answering phones and distributing relevant information appropriately.
Filling out basic work orders
Assisting with scheduling and updating company website
Managing liabilities for multiple entities under the same umbrella
SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience working in an office environment
Minimum of 3 years Bookkeeping/ Quickbooks Experience
Computer Proficient
Strong communication & customer service skills
Able to multitask
Efficient and detail oriented
Team player
JOB DETAILS
Pay: $16 to $20 per hour based on experience, 90 day/annual reviews.
Benefits:
- One-week paid vacation
- Paid time off for all major holidays.Christmas through New Year, July 4th, Labor and Memorial Day
5 paid personal days per year
Hours: 8am - 4pm (with some flexibility)
Office Location: 424 NC Hwy 55 W in New Bern, NC
