The Cargo Account Manager reports directly to the District Sales Manager and is responsible for improving cargo revenues and market share (with a focus on premium revenue). This is achieved by generating new and reviewing existing sales programs with freight forwarders and other types of accounts within a designated geographical sales territory. Account Managers handle their assigned sales territory primarily through in-person sales calls, working from a Sales Office.
Account Managers are required to plan their sales activities in conjunction with current sales strategies and rational analysis of account and market data. The Account Manager is required to submit timely sales plans and activity reports to their manager in order to support the overall objectives for the position, territory, market, department and corporation. Accountable for meeting or exceeding measurable key performance indicator goals.
Will use sales force automation technology to access account information and identify sales generation opportunities. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. The salary range for this role is $58,000-$70,000
