Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to individuals and seniors
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with patients
- Assist with transportation and drive patients to appointments or outings
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or seniors
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
- Proficient in monitoring and recording vital signs
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules and ensure timely medication administration
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
