Visiting Angels is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely, with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for strong, experienced, independent and compassionate Caregivers for our wonderful clients throughout Temple and Bell County!

FLEXIBILITY- We have shifts ranging from early mornings to late nights 7 days a week! YOU CHOOSE which of our wonderful clients you would like to work with based on what we have available! Short AND long shifts are available NOW!!!

Caregiver Angel job duties include but are not limited to:

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands and shopping
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting upwards of 50lbs
• Supportive companionship
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency
• Transportation to and from appointments

Requirements:

• A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything
• Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive
• Good time management skills
• High integrity and strong ethics
• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check
• Professional references
• Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
