Duties:
- Provide personal care services to patients in a group home
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse or supervisor
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient
Experience:
- At least one (1) year previous experience as a Home Health Aide or caregiver is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in providing care for patients with cognitive impairments
- Ability to assist with tube feeding if required
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassion and empathy towards patients' needs and concerns
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
