Duties:
- Provide care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents or clients
- Respect and uphold the rights and dignity of individuals receiving care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
Skills:
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Ability to drive and transport individuals to appointments or activities
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or seniors is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
