We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in an assisted living setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with daily living activities
- Assist with medication administration and adherence
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors
- Drive individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals to thrive
Qualifications:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to caregiving
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals, families, and team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
