A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREGIVER

As a Caregiving Aide, you are responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of residents in our group home. Your main duty is to ensure that prescribed medications are properly maintained and made readily available to the residents. You're also responsible for keeping accurate records of the medication administration.

You supervise meal preparation, cleaning, and other household or outside duties as needed. Another important aspect of your role is to supervise and coordinate the activities of daily living for the residents, ensuring their comfort and happiness. Lastly, you play a crucial role in providing life safety measures for all residents in the group home, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times!

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED. You will also need to work weekends. While not required, previous experience in mental health or as a resident worker is preferred.
