Visiting Angels is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely, with dignity and independently in their homes.

We need strong, compassionate and skilled caregivers for our clients ASAP! Shifts ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours and anything in between- mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights on weekdays AND weekends! YOU tell us which clients you'd like to work with and we build your unique schedule from there! PERFECT for students and those who want to earn extra income!

Caregiver Angel job duties include but are not limited to:

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands and shopping
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting upwards of 50lbs
• Supportive companionship
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency
• Transportation to appointments

Requirements:

• A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything
• Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive
• Good time management skills
• High integrity and strong ethics
• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check
• Professional references
• Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
