Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled coach and mentor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and young adults returning to the community from juvenile justice or facility placement or who are currently on probation.
This position requires a strong focus on independent living skills, mentoring, and financial literacy to assist clients with achieving their goals of finding and maintaining employment, staying out of gang life and activities, and creating stability in the home and other environments through while successfully reintegrating into their community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and group workshops on workforce/employment readiness skills, including job search strategies, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing techniques, workplace professionalism, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans for clients that address their unique needs related to independent living skills, mentoring, and financial literacy.
- Assist clients in setting and achieving realistic goals related to employment, independent living, and financial stability.
- Conduct regular assessments of clients' progress and adjust service plans as necessary to ensure success.
- Coordinate with other service providers and community resources to ensure clients have access to necessary support services.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and participate in program evaluation activities.
- Transport to and from activities and events pertaining to treatment (paid)
