Recruit, determine eligibility, enroll, conduct casas testing and comprehensive assessments, case manage, job coach and place WIOA In School and Out of School Youth and Santa Monica Youth in paid work experience with the goal of permanent employment.
Requirements:- Proven track record in coaching either youth or adults in a career readiness. Demonstrated track-record of collaborating in teams. Requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Requires the ability to understand labor market information and employer requirements.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Workforce Development or career counseling.
- Knowledge of CalJOBSSM system very helpful.
- Must be highly organized, detail orientated and work within time restraints and deadlines.
- Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm. Occasional evenings and weekend hours may be assigned, when necessary.
- Knowledge of WIOA common measures and requirement are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft office products including Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to type and be comfortable in front of a computer.
