Job Description
We are seeking an RN Manager who can start Part Time as we apply for our Class A "Medical" Home Health Care license. This position will move into Full Time as we complete our application and are approved for the license further in 2023.
This individual will be responsible for performing initial client evaluations, developing the Service Plan/Care Plan, and conducting supervisory visits in the clients place of residence. The RN Manager will oversee client care, make management and budget decisions, coordinate meetings, and make decisions about team members.

To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications, and educational experience required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees client services and ensures client needs are met
- Responsible for annual evaluations, competencies, state regulations, and accreditation, if applicable
- Provides and coordinates services in accordance with the Service Plan/Care Plan
- Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the clients needs.
- Initiates the Service Plan/Care Plan and necessary revisions, and physicians orders, if applicable
- Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative non-medical procedures.
- Provides documentation of client assessments, Care Plan, supervisory visits, caregiver and client education, and training.
- Informs personnel of changes in the condition and needs of the client.
- Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures.
- Implements the nursing care plan, if applicable
- Observes, records, and documents signs and symptoms and reports to the physician, Administrator, or Care Coordinator reactions to non-medical treatments, including changes in the Client's physical or emotional condition. Also manage limited skilled nursing services, when applicable.
- Communicates and counsels the client and family/significant others regarding their service needs and other related problems of the client at home.
- Participates in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the agencys services
- Coordinates staff meetings, client care conferences with family members or responsible party, and in-services
- Takes on-call duty, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Supervises and teaches other team members.
- Assists the client in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- Assists with other activities, as assigned.
- Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in-home care experience is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and or Google Suite and scheduling software required
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills as well as a positive and professional image
- Maintain current state Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Must maintain current drivers license and auto insurance
- Ability to read and understand short instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Demonstrated ability in or application of organizational/communication skills
- Ability to evaluate situations and make complex decisions using critical thinking and reasoning.
- Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress.
