The Role: Resident Care Coordinator (CNA)

The Resident Care Coordinator performs administrative/clerical duties in support of the assigned nursing area.

The Opportunity:

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a full-time motivated Resident Care Coordinator to join our team at Glenridge! This position is scheduled for day shifts, 40 hrs/wk. Every third weekend rotation will be required.

The Work:

• Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested
• Performs responsibilities of certification or licensure. Takes responsibility for, or guides team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues
• Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Assembles and maintains patient records and charts
• Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies

You Have:

• Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and support skills
• Ability to be flexible and shift priorities quickly
• Strong attention to detail
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and is an active, good-standing registered on the Maine Certified Nursing Assistant Registry required
• Valid Maine driver's license with acceptable driving record required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
