Job Description:
This position provides accurate and timely reporting and analytics that drive CVSL sub-specialties performance, improves clinical outcomes, quality initiatives and process improvements as well as enhance patient safety. Utilizes real time clinical care, registry and financial data inputs, along with statistical analysis.
Provide CVSL Medical Directors, Management and front line clinical associates information needed for decision making to create/improve processes for deployment of evidence practice, infection prevention and care transitions. Provide leadership for CVSL Management to develop Quality Improvement plans and provide timely feedback of patterns of variation in care.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Guides multidisciplinary teams through disciplined approach to achieve desired quality of care improvement results, including identification of processes and outcome measures, establishment of data collection methods and strategies, collection of baseline data measuring adherence to evidence based standards of care. (40%)
- Works closely with CVSL Medical Directors, Management and clinical teams in all CVSL sub-specialities to identify reporting and analytic needs. Develops, monitors and analyzes key performance indicator dashboards at sub speciality level. Performs activities related to statistical data analysis, trending, data presentation and benchmarking to support informed decision making at the CVSL Medical Directors, management and clinical care levels (40%)
- Assume full accountability for and administer assigned CVSL clinical data registry activity as required. This includes becoming expert of data abstraction dictionary intent, expert in clinical outcomes companion guides for inclusion/exclusion and clinical guidelines utilized to develop outcome measures (20%)
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. OR college degree with relevant clinical care experience in Cardiovascular Care
- Experience: 3-5 years of hospital/healthcare experience in cardiovascular specialty; Quality Initiatives, Data Analytics
Other Skills: Some familiarity working with SQL programming technique
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Ability to complete time-sensitive, multi-dimensional projects as part of a team
