Job Description:
- PURPOSE OF JOB:
Supports the objectives of the sterile processing and surgical unit by ensuring proper set up of rooms, surgical instrumentation and assisting with breakdown of surgical instruments at end of the surgical cases.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specific accommodations.
2. Ensures efficient flow of surgical instruments between the OR and Sterile
Processing department.
- Promotes patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies and, procedures.
4. Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.
Job Qualifications:
VI. QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education:
High School Education or equivalent
B. Experience:
Experience in sterile processing or surgical technology.
C. Other Skills:
Flexibility
