A self-directed advanced care provider technician and content expert performing core departmental services. ECG diagnostic testing holter cardiac event mobile continuous telemetry 24 hour blood pressure monitoring implantable device assessment/remote expertly managing associated workflow and data with a developed level of service familiarity.
Demonstrates the cognitive and technical skills required to acquire a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) including appropriate preparation of skin surfaces
Correct placement of electrodes and leads accurate patient identification and verification electronic download of the ECG order to the cardiograph waveform acquisition and storage and electronic upload of the ECG to the enterprise ECG management system.
Coordinates ECG routing and clinical workflow to support electronic interpretation by Cardiology fellow and attending MD.
Demonstrates the cognitive and technical skills required to apply remote monitoring devices (holter event continuous telemetry 24 hour BP monitors) including accurate patient identification and verification appropriate preparation of skin surfaces and correct placement of electrodes and leads.
Demonstrates proficiency in the configuration communication clinical use and trouble-shooting of FDA-approved medical devices including cardiographs and remote monitoring equipment
Serves as the resource for information for employees and customers.
Assists the Department Manager with performing various administrative functions including employee and customer relations and ensuring regulatory compliance and quality review in order to ensure the goals of the department are met. Patient Care and service provision. Teaching and Instruction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
Experience: 3 years of work experience, in lieu of work experience, Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree will be considered.
Licensure: EMT, LPN, Paramedic or healthcare related technologist/ technician certification preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. CET (Certified EKG technician) certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
