Car Wash/Maintenance Attendant - Akron, Oh

Allpro Parking is seeking a full-time Car Wash/Maintenance Attendant to join the operations team! As a Car Wash Attendant, your responsibilities are to clean customers' cars and to provide excellent customer service. Maintenance personnel will perform a variety of assignments other than actual Maintenance as well. The shift is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.

Essential Functions:

• Report directly to Field Facility Manager
• Perform regular daily duties or as otherwise directed by Field Facility Manager
• Traffic Direction when facilities are full.
• Snow removal to include disbursement of chemicals and salt.
• Closing levels in the garage.
• Minor repair to revenue control equipment.
• Notification to contractors required to perform work on equipment.
• Normal preventative maintenance to equipment.
• Keeping Ticket dispensers properly loaded with tickets.
• Assisting with emergency situations, such as power outages, fire, inclement weather, etc.
• Assisting customers in locating their vehicle.
• Jump starting customer and company vehicles.
• Repairing broken gates.
• Maintenance personnel will report, if noticed or aware, directly to the Field Facility Manager any repairs needed for remote lot lighting outages, landscaping, underground wires, cables, pipes, conduit, tanks and drains. The Field Facility Manager will be responsible to report the discrepancy to SUMMA. Note: Allpro Parking and its personnel are not responsible for any deficiencies and or damages caused by the deterioration or failure of the items listed above.
• Pick up trash in Garages including stairwells and all elevator cores.
• Clean Exit and Entrance of all lots.
• Clean the exterior windows of all cashier booths as well as the office windows.
• Pick up trash on all lots
• Empty garbage cans on all lots and parking garage
• Sweep stairwells in garage top to bottom.
• Sweep out expansion joints in garage.
• Mow grass and trim grass.
• Monitor and replenish garage locator tags at elevator cores.
• Wash SUMMA Fleet vehicles (shuttles / trucks/ vans, etc.) as needed.
• Wash Corporate staff personal vehicles as requested.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal/communication skills (speak and understand verbal/written English)
• Valid Driver's license
• Perform special projects as required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Enhance internal communication by sharing knowledge, skills and experience with co-workers.
• Proven ability to forge strong working relationships with clients, staff, community representatives and other stakeholders.
• High School diploma or GED
• Follow all rules and general guidelines as learned in training.
• Organized with proven creative skills.
• Must conform to Allpro's uniform dress requirements.
