The Project Management Team is responsible for planning, requirements definition, development, testing, and program/project communication
Primary Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for interacting and collaborating with members of the program to drive completion of one of the workstreams. This requires collaboration and interaction with the various members of the core team and delivery partners to implement the functionality required to support the in-scope asset classes and onboard the business areas onto the platform.
Will perform project planning, status reporting, issue tracking and resolution across the entire project lifecycle
Project Managers will be expected to maintain hands-on involvement in all SDLC activities, from ensuring that capabilities are prioritized to meet business objectives, requirements clear to development teams, designs are fit for purpose, test plans are comprehensive, infrastructure is adequate, and production runbooks are up-to-date.
Additional responsibilities include:
? Creating, modifying, and distributing project plans
? Aiding in test and environment planning and management
? Coordinating delivery
? Managing, communicating, and escalating project risks, actions, issues, and decisions across development, QA, production management, Finance, Operations, and program/Project Management teams
? Creating, modifying, and presenting project governance communication at weekly project and program status meetings
? Assisting in responding to internal and external audit inquiries and regulatory compliance reviews
Qualifications
Skills required (essential):
? Minimum 7-10 years of related experience managing technology projects in Capital Markets industry. Certification desired but not required.
? In-depth understanding of SDLC processes, and familiarity with Agile development
? Familiarity with financial accounting and reporting business processes
? Familiarity with derivatives and/or securities trade lifecycle
? Demonstrated ability to manage senior technology and business stakeholders in order to drive resolution of issues impacting project success
Additional Requirements:
? Bachelor?s Degree required
? General knowledge of investment banking and regulatory policy
? Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work within a global environment
? Ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment with little oversight.
? Strong technology aptitude with complete familiarity with MS Project, MS Office, and MS SharePoint assumed
