The Company

Juva is a fully integrated cannabis company. Founded by pioneers in the science and industry of cannabis and guided by a team of highly acclaimed medical professionals, Juva brings a higher level of information, truth and transparency to the marketplace. Juva Retail is a newly operational Cannabis Retail store in Redwood City, CA. This position is integral in helping to grow what is an already successful new store.

Reports to: VP of Operations

Responsibilities:

• Leads, directs, and manages day to day operations of the store.
• Work with the VP of Operations to set and achieve progressive sales objectives.
• Implement and assess sales strategies and promotional activities designed to drive revenue.
• Assist in hiring and training new employees on company policies, product knowledge, and service techniques.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance the skills of the retail team.
• Aid in conducting routine performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective communication with the management team, retail staff, and other departments to help ensure consistency of information across all channels.
• Relay important information, updates, and changes to the team and promote team engagement by inviting feedback
• Collaborate with store managers to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Promote a high standard of customer service through exemplary leadership at all times.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensures all inventory is properly received, handled, and tracked through both POS and state-compliant systems.
• Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with the purchasing manager on restocking.
• Maintains exceptional customer and associate satisfaction and strives for continuous improvement.
• Ensures a safe and inviting working environment.
• Manage weekly staffing levels and schedules.
• Fosters a positive relationship with area neighbors and the city of Redwood City and engages in community involvement.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.

● Proven experience in Retail Sales, management, or a similar role.

● Results-driven mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

● Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

● Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

● Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

● Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable sales growth.

● Excellent customer service skills with a track record of 5-star reviews.

● Deep knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends.

● Previous industry experience and/or familiarity with state compliance platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
