Camp Puzzle Peace, Inc. is seeking counselors for their Community Connections Program. This program consisits of counselors working with individuals that need support with builing social skill awareness and emotional intelligence. Many of the individuals that attend have autism and related disabilities. The age ranges are from 6-22 years of age. We have four classrooms that are divided by age. This program runs entirely outdoors with the use of the school for restrooms. This position is perfect for college students in the field of education looking for experiences. Applicants must like the outdoors and enjoy hiking and outdoor activities. Counselors are required to lift up to 50 lbs daily and be on their feet with the students. Out Program runs from 7/8-8/2 with two traing dates prior to the program start.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $14.61 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.5 per week
