As a Clinic Call Center Specialist you will answer, direct, and prioritize telephone calls and messages to the appropriate clinic or department.
Job Details
- Triage calls according to priority and urgency, transferring calls as necessary
- Document conversations and demographics to Electronic Medical Record
- Obtain complete and accurate clinical, demographic, and financial information during the scheduling process
- Follow guidelines for special requests, status, and schedule modification procedures
- Coordinate communication with clinical areas to accommodate the customer requests
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year experience in a Call Center or high volume call position
- At least one (1) year experience in a medical field
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Physical Requirements:
- Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing
- Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands
- See and read computer monitors and documents
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
- May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.
