Call Center Specialist

Job Description:
As a Clinic Call Center Specialist you will answer, direct, and prioritize telephone calls and messages to the appropriate clinic or department.
Job Details

• Triage calls according to priority and urgency, transferring calls as necessary
• Document conversations and demographics to Electronic Medical Record
• Obtain complete and accurate clinical, demographic, and financial information during the scheduling process
• Follow guidelines for special requests, status, and schedule modification procedures
• Coordinate communication with clinical areas to accommodate the customer requests

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one (1) year experience in a Call Center or high volume call position
• At least one (1) year experience in a medical field
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements:

• Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing
• Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands
• See and read computer monitors and documents
• Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
• May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.
