Job summary:
The Call Center Representative reports to the Call Center Supervisor and directs patients' calls to appropriate departments, schedules appointments, responds to questions or re-directs as necessary, and documents information in the electronic health record.
Key Duties include:
- processes large volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- updates changes in patient information in information system
- navigates patients’ charts in the EHR to locate appropriate information.
- verifies pharmacy and other clinical information related to patient’s visit.
- monitors call reminder system to reconcile with schedule
Education & other requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a Call Center or customer service role is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish language skills are a plus).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
