Call Center Agent

Citarella is seeking a Call Center Representative to join our team! This position is based out of our Warehouse location in Hunts Point, Bronx. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a thorough understanding of providing exceptional telephone customer service and have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Our Call Center Representatives are the first point of contact via telephone for the Warehouse and are responsible for presenting a professional and positive Company image to all internal and external customers.

Job Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a Call Center, customer service, or similar role
• Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills
• Must be able to handle high call volume and multi-task
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with individuals (both verbally and in writing) at all levels
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Answer telephones, route and log all calls
• Respond to customer inquiries both internal and external and research required information using available resources
• Handle and resolve customer issues and complaints; ensure follow up with all parties involved
• Confirm store orders
• Process purchase orders, request forms and other applications
• Efficiently and expediently handle all store orders
• Print warehouse labels and signs and support with all administrative work
• Additional duties and projects as assigned by manager
