Join our dynamic front-of-house team at True Grounds, where you'll play a crucial role in welcoming and caring for our valued guests in our cafes. As a versatile Team Member, you will seamlessly switch between roles, including working as a counter Team Member, a barista, and working on the food line.
In your role as a counter Team Member, you will be well-versed in all True Grounds products, adept at delivering delicious drinks and pastries, operating the point-of-sale register, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience will shine through in every interaction.
Additionally, when operating as a barista or on the food line, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills by handcrafting delicious and creative coffee beverages. You will also be responsible for preparing delectable breakfast items, and contributing to the overall culinary experience for our guests.
We expect our front of house Team Members to:

Summary of Team Members’ Primary Responsibilities
* Provides gracious and high-quality service to our guests by, among other things, welcoming guests to our cafes and engaging with them throughout their experience
* Determine guests' needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge
* Has comprehensive knowledge of all TG products
* Takes guests’ orders using our point-of-sale system/register
* Executes all TG product and packaging standards
* Delivers coffee beverages and food to guests
* Maintains clean and well-stocked café stations
* Actively maintains and supports café cleanliness and visual/brand standards
* Complies with and follows all safety and sanitation standards at all times while adhering to our policies and procedures
* Prepares and serves or delivers beverages according to TG recipes and specifications
* Answers guests' questions about our offerings
* Follows all recipe and presentation standards for our beverages
* Operates all Barista station equipment according to standards
* Keeps the bar (including bar equipment) clean and sanitary in accordance with applicable standards and well-stocked with inventory
* Delivers beautiful and artistic espresso beverages
* Execute techniques under the direction of the Manager
* Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
* Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
* Operate warmers, grills, microwaves, toasters, and other kitchen equipment
* Ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
* Actively set up and break down workstation and prepare for an upcoming shift
* Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
* Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
* Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
* Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards for the entire kitchen and dish area
* Other duties as assigned

* Strong communication skills to warmly engage with all guests and Team Members
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Able to grasp and reach overhead
* Must be able to lift, move, and carry 50+lbs
* Must be able to work 8+ hours a day on feet
