Cafe Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee consistent and accurate inventory
• Engage in weekly meeting with the Food and Beverage Director: delivering reports of cafe programming, staffing, property maintenance, sales, and any additional information as requested.
• Actively assist in all employee recruitment, interviews, and onboarding.
• Create and enforce training documents, SOPs, side-work, and cleaning schedules.
• Hold staff accountable for standards, policies, and non-negotiables.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and preparing replacements.
• Identify and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Operate and, if needed, troubleshoot Toast POS system
• Assist and provide feedback on all marketing programming for the Canteen.
• Be an expert in all aspects of the Canteen.
• Provide a top-notch customer service to ensure you meet or exceed clients' expectations.
• Training, motivation and retention of Canteen staff

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 30 + pounds
• Continuous standing and walking throughout work shift
• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position
• Training, motivation and retention of Canteen staff
• Food Handler's license
