Cafe Manager/Barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in restaurant management. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean and efficient space.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the cafe's operations, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory control.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Create employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Collaborate to develop new menu items and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the cafe, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of restaurant management principles and practices.
- Experience with inventory control and ordering systems.
- Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Aloha POS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Previous experience in kitchen management.
