Coffee House Manager

Firecreek Coffee is looking for a dynamic and experienced Cafe Managerto join our team. Based in Flagstaff, AZ, we operate 6 retail coffee houses throughout Arizona and also provide wholesale coffee to many fine dining establishments and coffee houses in the state. We believe in creating an elevated customer experience through excellent product, a warm and welcoming environment for both customers and employees, and through our hand selected coffee, custom roasting process and attention to detail in preparation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the house with the goal of minimizing guest complaints and increasing customer satisfaction.
• Create an atmosphere where staff can thrive and grow professionally
• Develop schedules, work schedules, and work policies to ensure that everyone is working in their best interest
• Oversee the training of new employees and ensuring that all staff follows safety guidelines and procedures
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained, clean, sanitized, and ready for guests to use when they arrive.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards coworkers and guests alike
• Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies for improving operations or other issues that may arise
• Manage inventory to ensure that products are in stock and available for guests to purchase. Ensure that all products are properly labeled. Ensure that proper supplies are prepared for guests as needed. Ensure that proper cleaning has been completed. Ensure that proper storage areas are cleaned, sanitized, stocked, and ready for guests to use when they arrive.
• Perform basic cleaning as needed throughout the day to maintain the house including floors, tables, appliances, etc. Ensure all surfaces are wiped down thoroughly before guests leave. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly throughout the day. Ensure all bathrooms are kept clean throughout the day as well as make sure there is always enough soap in the dispensers, etc.
• Manage staff schedules to ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet our needs while maintaining high production standards. Ensure staff receives proper training on how to perform their job responsibilities effectively. Ensure staff follows company policies and procedures. (i.e., safety rules) ensure everyone is following company policies and procedures at all times. Ensure everyone is following company policies and procedures at all times while maintaining high production standards at all times while maintaining a positive attitude towards coworkers and guests alike.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of management experience in a specialty coffee environment
• Must be able to pass drug screen AND criminal background check(s)
• Must have valid driver’s license, insurance information, vehicle information & your own reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
